The American Heart Association is accepting nominations for the Healthy Lifestyle Change Award.

The Healthy Lifestyle Change Award is an opportunity for individuals in the Blair County community to nominate a deserving woman of any age who has incorporated a healthy lifestyle into her daily life and, in the process, significantly improved her health.

The winner will be recognized locally by the American Heart Association at the Blair Go Red for Women event on Thursday, May 26 at the Blair County Convention Center.

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death among women. It claims the lives of more women than all forms of cancer combined.

Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative to end heart disease and stroke in women by helping women understand their risk and empowering them to take charge of their heart health.

To make your nomination, visit or contact Brooke Greybush at [email protected] or 717-730-1713.

Applications must be submitted by May 6.
