Olivia Walter is a public relations specialist on our communications team and has no idea we’ve chosen to feature her this week. If we had asked her, she probably would have refused, but her humility and hard work is why she is our latest staff star.

“Olivia embodies the phrase ‘work hard, play hard’,” says public relations specialist Rachel Gambill. “She makes us laugh during our downtime, but she’s also a consistent and dependable teammate. It’s an honor to work with someone I admire so much!

“Olivia is a total rock star! Not only does she create great work, but she always goes out of her way to do more and help others. A real team player,” says Edna Ruiz, public relations specialist. “I’m so proud to call her not only my colleague, but also a friend.”

“The way she sees the stories we tell, her expertise with video and graphics, her attention to detail, her connection to our community in so many ways, her willingness to share what she knows with the team.. .she’s a reason this team is nationally recognized,” says Chris Floore, Director of Communications “I’m so glad she decided to join us because she’s always up for learning more. , to surpass ourselves, but also to challenge ourselves to be better.”

Olivia grew up near Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from Butler University with a degree in digital media. From there, her talents and passions led her to a career in sports, working for the ASUN conference before joining us in Macon-Bibb. Her love of music brought her to the Bragg Jam Board where she has been secretary since 2019. She also works on graphic design and social media strategy for the concert crawl.

Olivia joined #TeamMaconBibb in May 2021 and got off to a flying start. She handles video production, making engaging, fun, and stylish videos for our government, partners, and team members. From community events and special occasions to meaningful stories and informative public service announcements – his work speaks for itself and can be seen here. Olivia is also responsible for much of our graphic design, social media, audio/visual of Commission meetings, and she is ready and willing to help with anything that comes up.

In addition to her work with Bragg Jam and County, Olivia is an Official Pickleball Ambassador for the Pickleball Association of the United States of America and has won a state tournament, which means she will compete at the level national. She spends much of her free time with her beloved Ernie Barks and PURRguson Jenkins. Join us in thanking Olivia for her hard work and say hello if you see her at Bragg Jam this weekend!
