KUWAIT: Indian Doctors Forum in Kuwait on Saturday released its â2021 Health Guideâ titled âCOVID-19 Explainedâ at an event hosted by the Indian Embassy in Kuwait. Indian Ambassador Sibi George published the health guide. The launch event was also attended by Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Health Mohammad Al-Kashti; President of the Kuwait Medical Association Dr Ahmad Thuwaini Al-Eneizi; The Secretary General of KIMS, Dr Fawaz Al-Refaee, and the President of the Indian Doctors Forum, Dr Amir Ahmed, as well as several senior doctors and representatives of the Indian community.
âIt’s a rich repository of invaluable information on everything we need to know about COVID-19 and all the nuances associated with it, explained lucidly by our medical experts in plain, simple language. You would also be happy to note that the health guide is made available free of charge, âthe ambassador said when publishing the guide.
George said the Embassy was very excited to partner with Indian Doctors Forum again and be part of an initiative that will be of great benefit to everyone. Congratulating the Indian Doctors Forum team, he said: “the entire editorial team who worked hard to compile this health guide.” He said the Indian Doctors Forum team was always at the forefront of the embassy’s efforts to ensure the well-being of the Indian community in Kuwait.
Speaking of Kuwait’s invaluable support to India as the country faced a difficult situation during the second wave of the pandemic with a severe shortage of medical oxygen, the ambassador said Kuwait was one of the main providers of medical assistance to India. âOn behalf of the Government of India and the nation’s 1.3 billion people, I express my sincere gratitude to the leaders, government and people of the friendly state of Kuwait for all the valuable assistance.
